IQ Workforce is the leading staffing company for the global analytics community.

Our client is a leading multi-channel fashion retailer based in Columbus Ohio.  They have a very compelling story to tell.  The company has invested heavily in all of the latest and greatest tools and technologies over the past 2 years and they brought in a top-notch Director of Analytics.

Now they need a great Web Analyst to help them with their implementation QA, reporting, deep-dive analysis, testing and insights generation.

The Web Analyst position will support website analytics and testing programs and analyses to drive our eCommerce growth strategies and support the DTC stakeholders (Operations and Product Managers). The successful candidate will leverage existing analytics and optimization tools and data points to identify revenue/profit-generating opportunities/programs and actionable insights. Web Analysts translate business questions into analytical requirements and perform analyses to gain insights and formulate concrete recommendations for business improvement. As a member of the Analytics team, the candidate must bring passion for learning and data-informed decision making that shapes a holistic view of our business, from front-end web experience through order fulfillment and customer service. 

Responsibilities include:

Support cross-functional teams (Operations, Product Management) by identifying their key business processes, decision points, campaigns; design and execute measurement and reporting strategy; build out reusable reports and dashboards; provide relevant and timely insights and recommendations

Independently identify opportunities for analysis and optimization on the site that increase conversion or drive revenue

Develop and maintain clear, concise reporting on DTC KPI’s with a focus on "actionability"

Perform complex Ad Hoc queries and analyses that combine multiple tools, data sources and types

Perform data quality audits, identify data collection issues and gaps, and recommend fixes

Enhance and develop tagging specs for existing and new site functionality or deeper analyses

QA tags in internal development environments as needed

Drive adoption and utilization of web analytics tools and data by other groups through training and facilitation


Bachelor's Degree required

Expertise in 1-2 Web Analytics tools (Omniture SiteCatalyst & Discover preferred; Google Analytics)

Experience with other analytics/testing/optimization tools is a plus (TeaLeaf, ClickTale, ForeSee Results, Monetate, Certona, Facebook Insights, etc.)

Experience working with large data sets and databases is a plus (specifically, SQL skills and exposure to Netezza & Aginity Workbench)

Strong interest in E-Commerce business and passion for driving results

Highly motivated self-starter with a sense of ownership, a willingness to learn, high degree of curiosity and desire to succeed

Ability to form partnerships with various stakeholders (product managers, IT & Development, etc.)

Must perform well in high pressure situations, balance competing priorities, and demonstrate the ability to work without direct supervision
