We are working with one of the world's leading travel and hospitality companies on a very interesting opportunity.  They are looking for full-time, on-site digital analytics implementation consulting.  

This position can be done either as a long-term contractor, a FT employee or as a contract-to-hire.  The client is open to all options and just wants to secure the best talent.  

The position is based in Stamford, CT, with at least three days per week being spent in the Stamford office.  The role reports up to the Director of Customer Analytics in a leading edge analytics shop.  


Work closely with business teams to capture Omniture tracking requirements for new sites and landing pages, eliciting key business questions that need to be answered with tracking. 

Translate those requirements into Omniture solution design specifications for both internal and third-party development teams.

Work closely with the development teams to structure, implement, and troubleshoot Omniture web analytics tracking code.  The technology spans Java/J2EE environments, mobile WAP decks, dynamic and static web pages as well as flash assets.

Document a detailed test plan and user test websites during code launches to ensure tracking is implemented to requirements, that Omniture code is firing as expected and expected metrics are being captured correctly in Omniture Site Catalyst.

Have ability to build dashboards and perform analysis using Site Catalyst and Excel Client/Report Builder tools.

Ideally, the candidate will also be able to analyze multiple data sources, and work in a cross-functional environment, as well as plan the next steps to optimize the site and various marketing campaign tracking.


Knowledge of and experience with web analytics and measurement technologies and coding specifically Omniture Site Catalyst. Other examples are: WebTrends, Visual Sciences, Coremetrics, Google Analytics.

Strong understanding of HTML, Flash, JavaScript, Java, J2EE and web protocols

Strong technical writing and documentation skills

Ideally the candidate would also have some experience with reporting tools such as Excel, Access, Microstrategy, Brio, Cognos as well as a working knowledge of SQL.

Manage time well, correctly prioritizing tasks and work with minimal direction in a fast paced team environment in multiple locations supporting both internal and external customers.
